Service Description
Welcome to our 1st class offering at the Sew Frisco Studios! In this class we will make your own Folklorico style skirt- a full circle skirt, with a tie waist and bottom ruffle! Please note this is not a double full skirt with ribbon used in most tradiontal Mexican fold dance or bomba. Class Focus: - Measure your body for your skirt -Learn the circle skirt formula -Draft your own pattern & Prep your pattern folder - Learn the amount and type of yardage needed to make your skirt. -Cut & sew your skirt, twirll and vibe! -Close out with how to use the base pattern to create style variations Machines, studio equipment provided! Beginner sewing friendly! All matrerials will be included in the class session. We will be using a cotton base fabric for this project. You are welcome to bring your won trims or alternate yardage as well! Light refreshments and snacks provided. Our studio does have on site parking on a limited 1st come 1st served basis! Public transportaion is highly encourgaed! Accesible by : M, J & K light rail, Balboa Bart & 8, 8BX , 43 , 54 & 91 Muni lines

To move your booked class to another Sunday please give 24 hour notice! For a full class refund or cancellation we as for 1 week advance notice to give time for those on the waitlist to respond and sign up. Cancellation requests with 24 hour notice will be offered a 50% refund.
